At Bonsai.io (operated by Bonsai Products, LLC), we aim to provide a high-quality experience with our AI-powered design tools. Because purchases may be processed through different payment providers, refund eligibility depends on how your purchase was made.

 

Apple In-App Purchases (App Store)

 

Subscriptions and in-app purchases made through Apple’s App Store are processed by Apple, which acts as the merchant of record.

 

Refund requests for Apple purchases must be submitted directly to Apple through your Apple ID account settings or via Apple’s support channels. We do not have the ability to issue or process refunds for Apple-handled transactions.

Apple’s refund decisions are governed by Apple’s policies.

 

Stripe or Direct Purchases (If Applicable)

 

If a purchase is processed outside of Apple’s in-app purchase system (for example, via Stripe):

​

• One-time Digital Purchases (including message/chat packs, design credit packs, and style unlocks) are generally non-refundable.

• Consumable credits (such as message packs or design credits) are non-refundable once used, in whole or in part.

• Subscription purchases processed outside Apple, if offered, may be canceled in accordance with the billing terms disclosed at checkout.

Refunds may be considered only in cases of:

• Verified billing error; or

• Documented system malfunction that materially prevented access to purchased functionality.

 

Refund determinations are made at the Company’s reasonable discretion.

• The email associated with your account

• The transaction date

• A description of the issue

No Refunds Based on Creative Preference

 

The Service uses artificial intelligence systems that generate probabilistic outputs. As described in our Terms & Conditions, Output is provided on an “AS IS” basis.

 

Refunds are not granted based on:

​

• Dissatisfaction with aesthetic style

• Variations in design interpretation

• The inherent limitations or margin of variability in AI-generated results

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

 

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute may result in temporary suspension or termination of access to the Service, subject to applicable law.
